Cornerstone PEO is a people-focused organization invested in, and committed to, the Medford and southern New Jersey communities. Our commitment goes beyond our business operations. Southern New Jersey is not just where we work; it is where we live, where we were raised, and where we are growing our families.

Supporting our local community has always been essential to our identity as an organization. Our executives and employees believe in giving back to the people and places that have supported them. Whether it’s through local nonprofits, community events, or sponsoring sports teams, we’re dedicated to serving others and doing our part in Southern New Jersey.
Cornerstone PEO is sponsoring multiple local and collegiate sports teams and their coaching staff throughout this fall season. We are excited to invest in the same qualities that drive success in business: teamwork, dedication, loyalty, and resilience, to name a few. When we support these athletic programs, we’re supporting the next generation of leaders.
Our Support for Local High School Teams
We’re excited to announce our sponsorship of the Shawnee Renegades for their upcoming and current fall sports teams. Many team members at Cornerstone PEO are Shawnee alumni, and being able to give back to the school that shaped us is an honor. The teamwork and discipline learned on the Shawnee field still influence the way many individuals at Cornerstone PEO continue to work today.
This fall, we’ll be featured in Medford Living to highlight our connection with Shawnee High School and our continued support of their athletes.
Our support of the Seneca Eagles football team holds special significance this year. Cornerstone PEO’s CEO, Stephen Hodge, has a family connection to the team—his brother-in-law, Anthony Diorio, recently became the Head Coach of Seneca’s football team. This relationship makes our involvement with the Eagles even more personal.
The Cornerstone PEO team is eager to watch Coach Diorio lead this team and we look forward to cheering on the student-athletes and their coaches throughout the season!
Collegiate Sports Impact on Our Team
Cornerstone PEO employees gained personal and professional skills at the collegiate level- whether through higher education, collegiate sports, or both. Many individuals on our team took their athletic skills from high school to the collegiate level, playing for schools like Fordham, Widener, Rutger, Alabama, Howard Payne, Rider, and many more universities.
In particular, our CEO, Stephen Hodge (pictured to the right), played Division 1 football at Fordham University and is eager to continue supporting his alma mater throughout the 2024 football season.
Ben Schwing, our Director of Sales- Northeast, (pictured to the left) played Division 1 lacrosse at Rutgers University. Cornerstone PEO is proud to support Rutgers University's varying sports teams due to our ongoing personal ties to this university through Ben.
As our business reach extends across the country, so do our connections. We recognize the importance of sports in developing an abundance of personal skills, and these skills are as important on the field as they are in the workplace.
Cornerstone PEO is proud to support to these collegiate teams and you will find our team members in many collegiate bleachers nationwide. We are grateful to be a part of these communities, both locally and beyond.
We would like to encourage our clients and partners across the nation to join us in support of these teams.
We will see you at the games!
